It is a bank holiday, but we don't get the May bank holidays. Mr Spouse does, so he is at home, not working, while I am at home working. And I have got my period. I am not going to be a mother before I am 40; this was my last chance.
I know how hard it is to get the "tick tock" sound out of your head (um, maybe I'm only talking about myself here as I'm fairly unbalanced these days). I know that 40 has a whole other meaning when you're trying to conceive. Does saying I'm sorry help at all? Probably not, I know. DinoD

I'm so sorry, hon.
I'm sorry Katie. How incredibly disappointing.
I could tell you that it is only a number but I know it will not comfort you, as it did not comfort me. I am sorry for your pain.
Oh that sucks. My 30th birthday was a very similar landmark.
